We're an Anglican Christian community gathering across Stratford, Briagolong, Munro and Dargo in beautiful Gippsland.

Whether you've followed Jesus for years, haven't been inside a church for decades, or aren't quite sure what you believe — you're welcome to come and see.

We gather on Gunaikurnai Country.

We acknowledge the Gunaikurnai people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waters on which the Parish of Avon gathers. We honour their Elders past and present, their children and generations to come, and their continuing connection to Country, culture and community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to spread the message of love, compassion, and understanding through the teachings of Jesus. We believe that everyone has the right to be happy and fulfilled, and that this can only be achieved through a deep understanding of our faith.

Our History

We have been serving the community for over 150 years, providing a space for people to come together and connect. Our founders believed in the transformative power of faith, and we continue to hold that belief close to our hearts.

Our Beliefs

At Avon Anglicans, we believe in the power of love, forgiveness, and grace. We strive to live out these values in our daily lives, and we hope to inspire others to do the same. We believe that everyone has a purpose and a place in this world, and that we are all connected in ways we may not even realise.
